A video version of yesterday’s “Dear Canada” post.
If we end up with a Conservative majority I will … I will cry.
And start saying goodbye to my rights as a woman.
I do not want a government that invovles the conservatives in any way … and yet the only opposition (from my perspective) that could really do any difference is the Green Party (well, maybe NDP). It’s the same two parties over and over again. The Liberals AND the Conservatives had had their chance.
Let’s give another party a voice in this parliament.
Let’s give the ~60% of people who do not currently have a voice a voice.
I swear, if I hear one person who complains about the government and says they didn’t vote I will smack them. I will Marshall/Barney slapbet slap them.Your vote = money.
Money = power.
So even if you feel like your candidate doesn’t have a chance, or the party you WANT to vote for doesn’t have a chance. Think again. Your vote will give them funding… at least until the Conservatives get rid of this system.
So vote.
Just vote already.
While I do endorse the Green Party of Canada, and even feel the NDP would be far better, I think Canadians have to vote. For anyone but the Conservative Party. Even the old Progressive Conservatives under Joe Clark (which I don’t think exist anymore) would be far better.
